WHOA - NOT SO FAST ABERCROMBIE: FL AGAIN!
all of a sudden, like last time, all bets are off. Florida is in doubt and I think we are going to be in for a run like last time. MSNBC is NOT calling FLorida.

Here we go again...

If you go to that page above
here it is again -- http://enight.dos.state.fl.us/

And select reporting status you will see which FL counties have counted absentee votes -- according to that Miami Dade hasn't.

Now, nowhere can I find a mention of early votes. So . . .

10. I remember staying up and wathing in 2000
After calling FL for Bush, the lead kept shrinking and shrinking. They really blew it - it never should have been called before recount.

11. Florida will NOT be called until Nov 12 - absentee ballot malfeasance
Due to an absentee ballot screw up of criminal proportions, Florida will not be called until Nov.12.

The problem is the over a million people who requested absentee ballots well in time, but FL did not mail them out until Sat. Oct 30. There is no way people could get them, vote, and mail them back by the deadline.

The ACLU has already sued, and the news is reporting that they have WON, to allow absentee ballots until Nov. 12, which is the deadline for overseas absentee ballots.

Even Rep pundits said there is NO WAY it was acceptable or just a glitch for the ballots not to be mailed until Sat.

14. Woo-hoo! That's great news!
You would think the frickin' media would have learned a thing or two about jumping the gun after 2000.

Neither

http://www.independentmediasource.com/election_watch2004.htm

nor

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/president/

show Florida going to either candidate yet.

Hold on there, General Electric theater...

17. Makes sense. If you were a Floridian, what would YOU do?
After what happened in 2000 I'd vote absentee by any means possible.

18. I'm about to pull out all the stops I don't give a shit anymore
All right, last time we went to bed and all of a sudden maybe you got a phone call or your wife woke you up and said...not so fast. Well, these bastards at ABC and CBS called FL the way they called it last time and guess what - we ain't there yet, folks. This might get real inhteresting real fast. We won't be defeated so easily - I was letting my guard down - all this fucking work all these months and we'll give it away because we're tied? I think not.

Go Kerry Go. Don't let them fuck you over. Go for the jugular.
