A word about Keith Cunningham (Ohio Repuke opposed to the recount)

Keith Cunningham, I have just learned, is a Republican who is also the President of the Board of Elections in Allen County, one of the strongest Republican strongholds in the state.

Allen County is where I personally see a large anomaly between the 2000 and 2004 elections. In the 2000 election, Bush got 13,533 votes and in the 2004 election he grabbed a whopping 31,629 votes. Granted, Kerry's total was 15,822, a nice increase over Gore's 6,685 in 2000. But Allen County is one of the few Optiscan counties in Ohio, and is therefore suspect, in my opinion.

One more thing - extremely significant. Keith Cunningham is the incoming president of the Ohio Association of Election Officials. You don't suppose he and Blackwell have a "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" relationship, now do ya?
