Anyone else getting real sick of the UPS "That's Logistics!" commercial?

It's playing non-stop on MSNBC and I'm thinking now that maybe UPS isn't the shipping company for me, because their ad is SO FREAKING ANNOYING.

So many commercials are using really annoying music right now. I'm thankful for the mute button on the remote.

4. I can't stand it because it's a catchy tune. It gets in my head.

But I guess that's advertising in a nutshell.

The other thing that is bothering me lately is doorbell sounds in commercials. It always causes me to look up, and thus look at the commercial that I'm trying to ignore.

6. And some of the phone ringing sounds are so realistic

that I think my phone is ringing so then I have to listen to be sure it's the tv and not the real phone.

7. Whistling seems to be a trend, too.

It's okay during the day, but it wakes my cockatiel up after he's covered for the night. Annoying.

5. As annoying as it might be, just remember that ALL UPS drivers are Teamsters......

and NONE of FEDEX's are.

As far as I know, none of UPS's competitors are union either, with the exception of the Postal Service.

9. One time was all it took...

I was sick of this insipid piece of dreck before the first one finished. What is even worse is the WSJ and other rags hooting about what a "brilliant" campaign it is.
Is the Merck company involved in advertising now?

On the topic of insipid ads, have you noticed that the current crop almost all have stupid piano or xylophone plink plink plink nursery-rhyme type diddling in the place of background music? What's that all about?

The more expensive the ad, the more diddly-dink-dink the music. I don't know what's worse, the ads or the corporate media talking heads on TV that the ads support...
