Jews for Jesus
Yikes! Talking about Christ addiction! Jews for Jesus are fucking freaky! Look at the horror stories by following the link at the bottom and you will know what I am talking about.

Moshe Rosen (born Martin Mayer Rosen) is an evangelical Christian who created "Jews for Jesus" with the intention of converting Jews (who are not knowledgeable of Judaism) to Christianity a belief system antithetical to Judaism. Rosen was ordain a Conservative Baptist Minister and created the cult back in 1969 to aggressively pursue the Jews.

These guys deceptively use the religious symbols of Judaism to attract Jews to their "synagogues". When Jews go to their services thinking they are attending a Jewish service they are left in there hearing about "Y'shua" feeling the same way as the cliché stories in the movies when a guy hooks up with an extremely attractive female at a party but later finds out that the lady has a little extra in between her legs.

The worse is when they come with their pamphlets to evangelize at the synagogues and sometimes even interrupt shabbat services in order to "spread the good word".

These guys pose little danger to the Jewish community, but they do cause considerable confusion. The real threat is minimal but nevertheless they have the capacity to misinform the general American public about the nature of Judaism.

Now, to their followers, the threat seems to be bigger since they are VERY AGGRESSIVE with the mind control. This site I am linking to was created by former Jews for Jesus members where they give their testimonials of how they were mistreated and controlled by the leaders of this cult.

Funny story I saw on that website is the fact that the webmaster who created the site eventually talked to Moshe Rosen (the leader of the cult) and for a while Moshe Rosen used his mind control skills to convince the webmaster and the members of the site to shut up about the whole thing. And they complied but the webmaster eventually came back to her senses.

The stories on that site are fucking crazy and I can't believe people fall for this shit. I was feeling sorry for some of these people but if you think about it they let these slime balls do that to them. It's insane! Check it out:

1. the Jews have a problem in their temples
Twice, in large synagogues, in two different large cities, I have gone to a special service, and at each of them, only ONE person spoke to me.

In both cases, I eventually found out that these people were Jews for Jesus. The real Jews did not even greet me or speak to me as a visitor.

It's sorry when I go into a temple, and the only person that speaks to me is a traitor to them and an infiltrator, and they are not even aware of it.

Sad.

Jews for Jesus is a front organization for Southern Baptists.

2. I'd like to know what special services you went to
and which cities. Also were these Orthodox or Reform Synagogues?

4. Not all synagogues are the same
I've been to to all kinds of synagogues some where people are stuck up jerks and to others where people are warm and friendly.

3. I think you said it right...
No religious/knowledgable Jew would even look at them, but there are plenty who are less knowledgable/religious that might.

The only thing I would add is the attraction for Christians to become Jewish is currently at NIL, which I find strange, since in reality non-Jews can't be Christians. Well, they can, but they'll go to hell probably. Jesus wanted Jews to seek God through Him, not non-Jews; that adjustment came in the Gospel truth fudge. So, I expect one day the flock to return - but not all at once if you don't mind.

PS - I might be telling a porkie pie.

6. That's more then one word. Isn't it suppose to be something in the
KJV of the Bible that that was another sign of the end-o-times? Reason being the Jews do not believe Jesus Christ was the son of God (just like Muslims), but a great profit,

Now we are told that our only way into Heaven is accepting JC as your Lord and Savior (per Jerry Falwell and Robertson and they should know )sarcasm), and those that don't, go to Hell . . . straight to Hell . . . and without passing GO or collecting $200 (whoops got my monopoly confused with my Evangelical speak of Falwell/Robertson).

One thing I admire about the Jewish faith as well as the Muslim faith and it has to do with interest. If they give you a loan, there is no interest on the payback. Both of their "Bibles" state there is to be no Interest on a loan to help another Jew and/or Muslim. I think Jesus said pretty much the same thing for Christianity; however, our capitalism's importance far outweighs common decency.

That includes a loan of a HALF a bag of Flour (I only want Half a bag back please), or 5 eggs (Give me 5 back NOT 6) or money of course.

Cleverly the criteria is only to Jews, which left the BIG opportunity for Ferengi-minded business accumen to thrive.

One slight correction:
Reason being the Jews do not believe Jesus Christ was the son of God (just like Muslims), but a great profit

That MAY have been a Freudian slip, but a) You mean prophet not profit! and b) NOT to Jews - he was just another Jo' Shmo' to the Orthodox Jewish faiths, nothing special, just some geyser from the Styx. The Muslims I am reliably informed do rate Him slightly higher, but have a perspective thats 600 years behind the times.

Edited - always stupid spelling mistakes.

9. Lol. Thanks TRYPHO for my "slip." It may have just been that too.
One thing is for sure with the Muslims and retaliation. If I were Muslim and say you were too (which you may . . . no one knows), and I killed a member of your family, or humiliated a family member of yours, or even just caused someone in your family to lose face as far as a female member and spreading untrue rumors about her, then for seven (7) generations, you and all of your future generations have every right to retaliate against the family (every member . . . even those never involved), and then they, for seven (7) generations have the same rights. That is why there will never be peace in the Muslim World.

I may not be telling it verbatim; however, you get the meaning. And if you can prove this not to be true, please do so. A Muslim friend who is a doctor explained it like the above to me.

12. Wasn't it the other way around?
It's my understanding that Christians were forbidden to charge interest, while Jews could (at least on loans to non-Jews), which (coupled with restrictions on trades allowed to Jews) was the reason Jews became heavily involved in the "financial trades".

8. Yeah, my dad told me about these guys a few years back.
Jews for Jesus are in a league all their own when it comes to unethical religious practices.

Even the fundies who live in my red-neck of the world leave jews alone.

11. My only encounter with Jews for Jesus came when I lived in a small town
in Oregon. I came out of my front door one morning to find that the entire apartment complex had Jews for Jesus pamphlets rubber banded around the door knobs.

This was most odd, since there were maybe half a dozen Jews in the entire town and, as far as I knew, none in the 15-apartment complex.

When I reached the campus where I taught, I found that all the other members of my department had received the same pamphlet. We laughed at the organization's ignorance of the town's demographics and at their wacky mixture of religions.
