Kali Yuga, Mayan Calendar, 2008 election....2012 ?

Please forgive if this topic has been hashed out:

Assuming:
the Mayan Calendar is right
and we are nearing the end of a Kali Yuga
and that 2012 is the big turning


What do y'all think about the 2008 election winners given that they would be up for re-election or replacement in
2012?

Would those winners be extra good (beginning of new cycle) or extra bad (end of this cycle) ?

Anyway. For the sake of argument, and for the purposes of the following query, supposing that the Mayan Calenday, the believers in the winding down of a Kali Yuga and whomever else goes with the notion that 2012 is to be a big year:

Do you reckon a political winner this year would be very very bad because this period of darkness has to end
or
someone really good because that person would be ushering the changeover to a period of light?

the year ends on December 31st. There's nothing after that!!! Thus the world will end this December 31st at 11:59:59.

There is a parallel here to the Mayan calendar system. See if you can figure it out.

because it would be absolute speculation. I certainly HOPE that we are going to enter into a positive four years with our next election, and wherever that leads us to in 2012...???? I truly hope it's a good place.

Is that I have known politicians who were honorable public servants who don't deserve to be insulted by a vacuous nincompoop. In fact, you have managed to insult both of my parents in the same post.

Not sure what else to say except that I don't see any reason to analyze the current election with respect to fireball spells and summon undead potions either.
