Catholics confer in Anaheim Convention Center

If you notice an uptick in the numbers of black-and-white-clad clergy members fingering beads in the resort area, fear not — they aren’t here to smack your knuckles with rulers, no matter how impertinent you’ve been.

The Catholic Diocese of Orange and the Anaheim Convention Center are hosting a gaggle of Catholic school teachers next week for their annual convention.

The convention met in Anaheim in 1994 and 1986, and only six other times elsewhere in the state of California during the convention’s 106-year history.

The convention will be Tuesday through Thursday (April 14 - 16).
