It's best to leave people alone and if I don't like it I can leave. I will find another sports
program.
I think what I learned the most from posting this is that
in the end, when I need to be "right" about
something, anything, I am off my path. That is just pure ego.
I was wrong. I hope I do better next time.
This morning I walked into the barn to feed our two
sheep. We have only had them 4 months so you can imagine my
shock when I saw two baby lambs. They are so cute, white and
black, trying to walk and figure out, "Just what is this
place? Where am I?"
I can't wait for the kids to come home from school. They
will just be beside themselves with excitement and wonder.
Ah, the miracle of life, all around us and most of the time we
never even notice it.
Peace!

You hit the nail on the head about the need to be right.

Namaste.

4. Aw, that's lovely, SSP--thank you for that
I had a similar moment this morning--I was all turned around, trying to figure out what errands I had to run today and which ones could wait till tomorrow (I had three "lost" days this week, devoted to MG Jr., who was home from school on winter break). Plus I had a deadline--okay, past due--for an article I had to write...and I was kind of freaking out.

Getting groceries couldn't wait, so I headed into the suburb that's our local "chain store hell"; on the way I drove through a small village. Glanced to my right and saw a small dog, running RUNNING RUNNING RUNNING around and around his yard in the snow, with a stuffed animal in his mouth. Talk about pure joy--he embodied it! It was a great thing to see--some stuff, like the dog, and your lambs (awwww :loveya:) sure put things in perspective, don't they? :)
