Another October Saturday and all eyes are on the SEC
The Big Question! Which SEC team will be number one next week?

Alabama?
Florida?
LSU?

Will Arkansas-Auburn Score a combined 100 points?

Will weather be a factor in Baton Rouge?

Is South Carolina for real?

How bad will Georgia spank Tennessee?

Is anybody else playing?

2. The biggest question: What Bible verse will Tebow etch into his eyeblack?
Edited on Fri Oct-09-09 04:07 PM by Scurrilous
Perhaps Psalm 23:4-5?

"Even though I walk through the dark valley of death, because you are with me, I fear no harm. yadda yadda yadda..."

Tiger Stadium aka Death Valley.

3. Does he do that?
God, I cannot stand him. Everything I have to hear or see about him - it's like I'm being put through some test.

9. I wonder if he would be a douche
if he quarterbacked the Wolverines and led them to a 25 game win streak?

10. Well, he wouldn't be wearing those patches.
We had a kicker who wore an armband that said "Jesus" on it, and when the alums and the AD got a load of that it was quickly removed.

I'm sure A2 is way too godless a town for Timmy.

12. Are the number of wins relevant?
Edited on Fri Oct-09-09 06:30 PM by BOSSHOG
Call a guy a douche because he is successful with another team. Would he be a douche if he led your team to success? I don't like the sumbitch cause my Hogs have to play Florida next week. Because of his football abilities not because of his religion.

No 25 game win streak but 2 national championships before one's senior year. Well that just sucks for him.

17. Yes, he would be a douche if he led my team
He's a religious zealot, that's why I can't stand him, and that's why many can't stand him. Is this really so hard for you to accept?

19. He's a religious supremacist like a lot of christians
That's why he's a douche. If Jim McMahon couldn't wear sayings on his sweatbands how come Teblow gets to wear bibull verses?

6. I hope Texas will be #1
After your Tigers show Florida what for.

Is there any chance Ole Miss can bam Bama too?

7. Please El Supremo
they are not "my" tigers. I am Razorback Red through Good and Bad. I doubt LSU beats Florida and Ole Miss is a mystery week in and week out, but Bama can kick some butt. A caveat on the LSU-Florida game, inclement weather might be a big factor.

Next week - Hogs at Gators. If the Hogs have a good "D" game against Auburn, Arkansas might be the Ole Miss of 2009, beating the Gators in their house. I'm just dreaming.

I'm still in therapy over the 1969 Arkansas-Texas game. And the 1964 collapse of the Phillies. And the 1979 Indiana State "win" over Arkansas in the Sweet 16.

13. 41-23 Hogs with 10 minutes left, Boss...
800+ yards total offence between the two. Hell, they might break 100 yet.

16. I Was Expecting Ala-Ole Miss To Be Much Better Than It Was
Even though this isn't a "vintage" Georgia team, giving up 45 points to Tennessee???

Kentucky-South Carolina was a pretty good game as well.

18. Here's your new question:
Will Georgia win another game besides Tennessee Tech this season?

Vanderbilt? Their offense isn't any worse than UT's was, and they don't have turnover issues. Win, Vanderbilt.
Florida? There's a better chance of Sarah Palin becoming intelligent than Georgia beating Florida. UF may score 80 that game and I have no doubts that Georgia will be shut out.
Auburn? Well, Auburn beat Tennessee.
Kentucky? No reason to suspect that UK's offense won't suddenly come alive.
Georgia Tech? The only question here is whether Tech will exceed 450 yards rushing or 500 yards rushing. Blowout.
