The Tulsa World cartoon misses the mark completely. It's true that OSU was pretty much along for the ride, with little bargaining power of their own, but Oklahoma got pretty much everything the athletic department wanted -- although there are also some rather silly OU fans who think Joe Castiglione is gutless because Oklahoma didn't insist on doing the opposite of whatever Texas did, just to prove we could.
