NY Yankee Wang (Taiwan) triumphs again
Making it three in a row, Taiwan's very own Wang Chien-ming (???) (3-1) conquered another major-league club by pitching the New York Yankees to an impressive 4-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night.

The 25-year-old native of Tainan was spectacular in his fifth start as a big leaguer by allowing two runs on five hits while striking out two and walking none. It was not until Wang had retired the first nine batters he faced that the Tigers rang up their first hit off him on a leadoff single by Brandon Inge in the fourth inning.

Even in situations where the odds were against him, Wang showed great poise by sticking with his game plan against each hitter and restricting the damage to a minimum.

2. The Yankees are on a tear right now, and pitching is a big
part of it -- unfortunately for their opposition, their offense has been coming alive too, turning around a disastrous start this season.

The AL east is red hot this week, each team in the division coming off a 3 game series sweep -- except for Boston, which GOT swept by the Jays and is in the doldrums, to say the least.

There'll be a lot of interest in the New York/Boston series this week (as always) meanwhile the Os continue to fly high!

3. Yeah all three those games are on ESPN
Who wants to watch a bunch of just barely above 500 teams soak it out :D, just joshing, I would be watching it but hah I actually have been having reasons to watch the Orioles. Anyhow I hope you guys cool the Yankees off. Don't see any sign of the orioles cooling off soon though, in fact I think they could get back to 667 by the time I graduate.

4. Only two are on ESPN...
Fri & Sun are on ESPN.

Saturday's 1:15pm EST game is Fox's national broadcast though we won't get to see it here on the West Coast.

I can't hope for much from Detroit, especially since you'll miss their best pitcher.

5. OOh yeah Fox, sorry about that
Three televised games in one series, yeah, but orioles are gonna have to beat them with more than just offense, dont know if you read about the Seattle series but pitching was very key in that as well, only allowed about 5 runs to come in that whole series.

7. Who?
I dont see anyone like that on their roster, we're talking abotu the Tigers right. They seem to be a good hitting team but doesnt really have much power really.

8. The Yanks
will catch the O's. Baltimore's pitching will catch up to them.
