Fans plan rally against Texan's Head Coach Gary Kubiak
ESPN.com news services / 12-28-10

A pair of Houston Texans fans who believe coach Gary Kubiak should be fired are organizing a rally for Sunday to make their point, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Fans Brad White and Scott Carter are hoping the demonstration before Sunday's season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars will help convince team owner Bob McNair to change coaches, according to the report.

"I want to stress that I don't want people to come out to bash Kubiak," White told the Chronicle. "We don't want vulgar signs out there. We're not there to bash him. We're there to say that we want a change."

The Texans, who this season were thought to have their best chance of finally reaching the playoffs, instead have struggled to a 5-10 record.

Great... while you're at it, organize a rally to protest tax cuts for the super wealthy.

1. I feel bad for Kubiak
He never did take them to the playoffs which is important. A great offensive mind though. Very good offenses in Denver and Houston while he was there. At least this season, defense was ranked in the bottom of the league. Also they played in a very tough division last few years. Tennessee put out a solid team a few years ago. Last season them, Jacksonville, and Tennessee finished close to .500. Indianapolis of course has been great this past decade as well.

I wish him luck. Maybe he could join as an O coordinator for the Cardinals but they really need a D coordinator. Maybe Singletary?

2. Kubiak will probably get a coordinator position right away
Maybe with the 49ers even. Singletary has never been a coordinator. With two years on his contract I expect him to lay low for a while, though you never know.

3. I want him to be the Broncos coach!
He's a hell of lot better than Josh McBoy or Shannyhan.
