Baron Davis reportedly headed to Cleveland in trade for Mo Williams, Jamario Moon
The Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed in principle to a trade that would send Baron Davis and a draft pick to Cleveland for Mo Williams and Jamario Moon, according to multiple reports.

Davis, most recently seen feeding Blake Griffin from the driver's seat of a Kia as Griffin won the All-Star Game slam-dunk contest, reportedly was stunned by the news of the trade. which is not yet official. (The trade deadline is 3 p.m. EST.) "Ran the part of the trade scenario past Baron Davis outside of the locker room and he looked stunned," Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times tweeted late last night. "Didn't even say the words Byron Scott."

Byron Scott. That would be Davis' new coach with the Cavs. The same Byron Scott with whom he had a rather difficult relationship in New Orleans. During the Clippers' visit to Cleveland two weeks ago, though, that was all but forgotten as the hatchet was fortuitously buried, the water luckily well under the bridge.

"I told him how much respect I had for him as a coach and how much I grew up," Davis told Mary Schmitt Boyer of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I was a young player, young star in this league. I probably wasn't handling the responsibility the way I should. He stuck to his guns. I probably needed that discipline. A couple of years later, I actually thanked him for being who he was. That ultimately was the lesson I learned.
