I don't think Stafford is quite ready for the big stage... MHO

and I think Rodgers will have a monster game.

2. I hope you're right....I'm terribly nervous
the Lions have a lot to prove, and I think this game is it for them....I just hope the Packers come out with a win and nobody get hurt. GO PACK GO.

3. They Are Highly Motivated
They still have a really bad taste in their mouth from the last time they were at Ford Field.

A lot of folks are calling for a shootout. I don't think so. I saw what happened when the Lions were in Chicago.

Stafford was the Bears' MVP in that game. He was horrible. The Bears offense simply went into a shell to run clock. The final score didn't reflect how easy a win that was.

4. That game formed my opinion of Stafford.
I think he's a heck of a QB...and will be for years.

But I also think he may have hit a bit of a wall this season and it began in Chicago.

10. We Don't Disagree
But, i did call this one. Stafford mistakes resulted in an easy Packer win. He's not quite ready for prime time.

Sorry about your 'phins, Tru. I was pulling for them. I hate the Cowboys.

6. Seeing Stafford miss a wide open Johnson was a bit disconcerting
But a Lions win would probably be the best thing for GB. It would eliminate that pressure of the undefeated season. Plus, it would be nice to see their arrogance knocked down a peg.

9. Arrogance??? are you insane?? Just confidence....
all great teams can play a few games with less then stellar play and get a win, if you think thats arrogance, you're nuts. The packers have played 3 games in 11 days, I think they're just tired....whew. GO PACK GO. 11-0, first time in team history.....just win baby.

7. GB has a perfect record, but not a perfect team
Edited on Thu Nov-24-11 02:08 PM by rocktivity
Both teams look fatigued and flat, but GB's vulnerabilities are shining through like a beacon.

Liked that shot of the GB helmet lying next to a penalty flag.

8. Hardly need to be a perfect team in this league
Edited on Thu Nov-24-11 02:18 PM by Awsi Dooger
Nobody runs the ball and few teams make legitimate attempt at defense.

This game has played out as I expected, tremendous defensive intensity and pass rush from Detroit early in the game. The sharp guys bet the over/under down from 56 to 54 prior to the game.

But Stafford can't take advantage without a running game and less than creative pass routes. They rely on a handful of plays, and superior athletes making plays.

If Green Bay escapes this game it will be a monumental boost and I can't see anyone else defeating them. They'll have a flood of confidence and 4 extra days rest compared to the Giants, and that defensive backfield is ripe to be shredded. Green Bay will feel like they are prancing in open spaces compared to this game.

Then two of the opposition quarterbacks are out -- Cassell and Cutler. And Green Bay will own fury of anti-revenge edge against Detroit in the finale. They'll score quickly and often in that game...if they want to.
