3. How about the worst QB in the NFL taking his team from 1-4 to tie for the division lead.
I can't help but laugh.

4. and he actually looked good passing today
In the last five wins, they won in spite of the way he threw the ball for most of the game. That was not the case today.

5. While his throwing motion isn't as extreme as it was, it's still too long and drawn out.
Needs tons of work. Pre-season snaps might make a difference next season.

I just get the idea that defenses are afraid of the guy.

7. His motion actually looked more compact today
First time I've seen a difference.

As long as Denver runs the ball often they'll win their share of games. Rushes cleanse a team and make it more physical and intense on both sides of the ball.

8. I believe he was 5-6 on 3rd downs today
which has been an issue up until now. When teams get him into passing situations he has been ineffective throwing the ball.

I agree with you that his motion is improving but still needs work. Today he showed good patience, though, and was consistent and accurate on his passes. I don't remember all of his incompletions, but I know at least one was a drop (I think two, but can't be sure) and at least one was just a great defensive play. There were none of the wildly errant passes that we saw in the Miami game and for a few weeks afterwards. Maybe today was just an aberration, but maybe not.

Another thing he did well was responding to the defensive adjustments. The Vikings did a good job of shutting him down running the ball, but he kept his head throwing the ball, both in the pocket and when forced to scramble.
