2. Are you saying AC/DC sucks?
What--- should football games feature Captain & Tennille?

Quite possibly the dumbest thread ever in the sports forum.

3. Besides the AC/DC opinion, my point is this, trumad.
I don't care what kind of sporting event you go to why do we have to have the constant noise coming from the PA system or the Jumbotron? Constant. At ear shattering levels. You can't even hear the band anymore, which at Iowa, it's probably a good thing. With TV timeouts, FIVE minutes between quarters and other stoppages it makes for a long day. Not just for the ears.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear Captain & Tennille. So my opinion of AC/DC makes it the dumbest thread? I must of missed the "must like AC/DC and other heavy metal garbage" rule to post over here. My bad.

4. Proving that you have no idea the difference between Heavy Medal and Rock and Roll.
OK--- maybe not Captain and Tennille for you... how about James Taylor at sporting events?

5. How bout the sound of the fuckin crowd, trumad?

6. I don 't get your problem?
What---you want no music at a game? Music has been a part of football game for years and it gets a crowd stoked and ready to rumble? Do you want music banned from the games? Or is it just AC/DC type music.

If you don't want music banned---then give me some bands that you approve of?

Oh--- first you diss AC/DC--- and now you diss Queen... How old are you? 80?

7. No, fifty, trumad.
ESPN's Sounds of the Game. Utter bullshit. All the fans hear is fucking "Centerfield" by John Fogarty. Or some other drivel. It figures you like Queen. You're the asshole playing the air guitar on the jumbotron. I remember going to Tiger Stadium as a kid and just hearing.... the game. The peanut man, the PA announcer, who's at bat, the murmur of the crowd. Now, I have to scream over fucking Billy Squier to make a point about the last play. You'll never get it, trumad, cos you never experienced it. Stick your ready to rumble up your ass. Let me know how the next UFC ends up.

9. Dude--you are simply full of shit...

Music is played between innings... never during the innings. It's a baseball rule throughout MLB.

BTW: I'm looking up at my den wall at my collection of fouls balls caught during MLB games---balls caught in Oakland, KC, St. Louis and Texas (2). 5 total.

That's a whole lot of foul balls caught from a guy who never experienced a baseball game.

11. Please can't we all get along?
and ensure the continuance of this thread. Being full of shit is a prerequisite for being in this forum. Did ya ever get hit on the head with a foul ball? Why not?

14. I'm an early to bed
kinda guy, so the score was 31-3 when I departed Saturday night only to be awakened to a front page score which truly impressed me. Hey, My Hogs did not lose this weekend. They didn't play, but they didn't lose.

12. The beautiful thing, trumad, is we can keep this going for days!
Days, I say. That's how slow it is here. Appreciate the written jousting. Now, I must go make a turkey sandwich.

8. It might be that AC/DC kicks ass.
And people enjoy their asskicking so much that they play their stuff at sporting events.
