1. The Jets seem to be improving nicely as the season goes on.
Favre is more comfortable with the offense, and the defensive free agents are getting the hang of the system.

Could be, BOSS! Would anyone watch outside a ~200 mile radius of NY?

2. I can't see the Jets getting there.
Favre is just throwing too many Int's right now. He's just lucky that a lot of the teams they beat have been making mistakes too.

19. Yup, how many big games did he stink up the joint???
Let's see......2 in Green Bay, 1 in Saint Louis, oh yeah, he's the best in the big game :eyes: but I still love to watch him play.

4. You might be half right...
Giants look good. My prediction is that by February, some Jets fans will be trying to come up with some reason why Favre's 3 INT's in a playoff loss were really someone else's fault.

7. I would never say that...
but when he does it, and the NY media gives him hell for it, he will have many defenders. I guess it's not really fair to lump all Jets fans in, though. With that many people living in the city, you're bound to get your share of crazies. Hell, you could even find a few Isaiah Thomas defenders right up until the end.

8. And if he didn't do it last year...
...can't see him getting there with a lesser team this year...espcially since they'll probably play on the road.

10. Ahhhhhhhhhh, a wonderful fantasy. Thing is, though, there's still
lots of football left to be played - and anything can happen in the next 6 games or so of the regular season. Then there's the playoffs - and a whole different mindset.

20. Likely not
The Giants are very good, the Jets are improved, but Brett Favre will throw a stupid interception somewhere along the line which will cost the Jets either a playoff berth or a Super Bowl berth. And besides, the Titans appear to be the real thing this year. A ball hawking defense like that should take Favre apart.
Note-I have seen all but about three games Favre has ever played in his career until this year. So I know what I'm talking about.

26. Ok the Jets are a good team
So how about them vs. my Packers in the Super Bowl? And then my Packers could destroy the New York Brett's, er, Jets. Only problem is, Green Bay's O Line isn't very good.
One more thing, three years ago, the Packers were 4-12 and a lot of people were saying "Favre is washed up. He should retire". Those people obviously didn't understand that football is a team sport and Favre didn't have anyone good around him except Driver. So I want an apology from those people. Favre is obviously still pretty good.

27. Have you been to Kiln, Mississippi?
Brett's Hometown which has become a mecca of sorts for Green Bay Fans. I've always been a Bret Fan and I believe the teams head shed did him wrong last year. And now his nephew (a junior in high school) has Unca Brett's DNA on display in high school football with some godawful stats.

PS - If ya haven't been to Kiln, its a one stoplight town, literrally.

Then the Jets beat Tennessee with their fifth consecutive win. Now it's a real possibility with their remaining games against Denver, San Francisco, Buffalo, Seattle, and Miami.

29. For obvious reasons, I'd rather not like tosee that
schedule wise, it does favor the Jets by a game. New England has only 1 potential loss left on their schedule and that's this week against us.

Here's a question for all the conspiracy theorist around. If in the last week of the season when Tennessee plays Indianapolis, if Indy needs a win to get a wild card, will Tennessee lay down and rest their entire team? An Indy win could possibly put NE out of the playoffs if Baltimore runs the table (in which case, we could end up on the bubble).
