Eagles must rush Warner. Otherwise he'll kill them.

2. I started leaning the Cards way around Thursday.
They play well at home (especially offensively), and after that Panthers game I'm not putting anything past the Cards. I am a little surprised at the ease with which they're winning so far today though. The Eagles D is struggling mightily.

Arizona's o-line is pushing them around too.

They have apoplexy if there aren't any East Coast teams in the Super Bowl.

44. Yes...?
I can only imagine the orgy of excitement had it been a Steelers-Eagles Super Bowl.

The question now is--what will the Governor of Arizona bet Ed Rendell with?

I hate it when a team with a lead plays too conservatively too early.

I will be rooting for the underdog Ravens.. Don't expect much, cause the Steelers are
great, but to see the Cards vs the Ravens in the Superbowl would be interesting.
Especially if the Cards won it..

THE OAKLAND RAIDERS.

in order to get a new stadium. I grew up in Santa Clara Co....it's fine with me if they move down the peninsula..a big part of their fan base is down there anyway.

31. There are alot of fans..
In the city as well. Though going to The Stick was a pain in the butt when you went by bus, both coming and going. Parking was crazy as well. I wish they would build it some where down near AT&T park. That would be ideal. I could have sworn there was a plan to put the stadium down there at one point. Then they were talking about building it next to the old stadium. I don't want to have to travel clear down south to go to a game, unless they got BART stopping right in front of it, like it does in Oakland.

But there's no place to park.. and I am sure people would complain about the noise. I still think some where near AT&T park would be awesome. Close to the Bay, and available on the MUNI line.

24. Christ. Bidwell on the sidelines made me want to puke
He's an historically bad owner--like Donald Sterling--and to see him there was a little too much for me. Kudos to Fitzgerald, the coaching staff, etc., but to see Bidwell get anything after all these years he has hamstrung the franchise is a little too much for me.

Edited on Sun Jan-18-09 07:03 PM by AsahinaKimi
If he takes the Raiders back to LA again.. He should be
certified as having totally lost it. Then again,.. I am not
too happy with Dr.York either, but his kid, Jed York might do better running the Niners.
Hiring Singletary was a good first step.

27. Davis sucks but at least he has accomplished something
Even if the last time was a long time ago. Bidwell has been a fuckup forever. He took over ownership of the team in 72 and what have the Cardinals done since then? And a large part of the team's incompetence has been his tight fist with payroll to players and staff.

43. CBS coverage is boring in every sport
My biggest pet peeve is Nantz' ritual "there have been M ties and N lead changes" when covering a basketball game. Dude, it's BASKETBALL! The lead changes hands many times in a typical game! Somebody at CBS spends waaay too much time researching useless stats and feeding them to the on-air folks.
