Obama's rooting for the Steelers
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09020/943157-66.stm

"He's a Bears fan first, he admits that,'' Dan Rooney said yesterday at the Steelers UPMC training center. "But he's a Steelers' fan. He's said it, and all his staff, they're rooting for us ."

Nice.

1. That's a shame to hear Obama sounds like a front-runner.
He probably says he roots for Dallas too. :eyes:

5. Aren't the Steelers' owners openly Democratic?
That may have something to do with it.

6. Hate to be the grammar Nazi but the apostrophe "s" designates possession behind Obama's name, rather
than say a contraction like "he is" to "he's". You wouldn't say Mother's for "mother is" or car's for "car is".

7. If you're going to come into the sport's forum and correct
someone, please use insult's and curse word's.

It's the sport's forum.

8. Sure I would.
I don't know what a manual of style would say about it, but I see nothing wrong with using that kind of contraction in an informal situation.
