1. I don't have a problem with the Bears being number 1
They lost what one game that season? Had maybe the greatest Defense ever that year. They pretty much just destroyed the Pats in that Superbowl. Might want to ask your NEW coach about this..:)

2. That's ridiculous

the '94 49ers only 6th? They were unstoppable offensively.. Deion Sanders has said that was the best team he ever played on, and he played on a Cowboy Super Bowl winner.

I have no gripes with the '89 team being second... as long as the '94 team is first. And lets not forget the '84 49ers, finishing 18-1, literally pounding Marino and the Dolphins into submission in the Super Bowl...

The '85 Bears were a great defensive team, I would rate them no better than third. This is the way I see it..

1. Super Bowl XXIX 49ers

2 Super Bowl XXIV 49ers

3. Super Bowl XX Bears

4 Super Bowl XIX 49ers

5. Super Bowl XXVII Cowgirls

Edit: The positions of the #1 and #2 teams can easily be reversed, but there is no question that they were the top two in NFL history.

6. Trumad must have had his friends at Diebold help move
the '94 Niners to the 6th spot.

He's still furious.

4. How in the hell are the '07 Patriots in the top 10?
Edited on Sun Jan-25-09 11:44 PM by BulletproofLandshark
They didn't even win the damn game!

And even though I'm biased, the '91 Redskins deserve at least a token mention. And here's why:

-scored 485 points to lead the league while only allowing 224
-had the 4th ranked offense and 3rd ranked defense
-they only gave up 9 sacks all year. 9.
-their 2 losses were by a combined 5 points
-they didn't allow a single point at home until Week 7!
-Outscored their 3 playoff opponents 102-41, the 20.3 point avg. margin of victory is the highest of ANY Super Bowl team

Surely, they deserve the spot more than a team that didn't win, no matter what they did in regular season.

8. The First Two Picks Are Sort Of 1 and 1A
Those two teams both were fantastic and on both sides of the ball. As long as those two teams are 1 and 2, i don't think it matters which order.

12. Where are the Rams??
What the hell? The greatest show on turf, the most potent offense ever put on a field and not in the top ten? They would have beaten the Whiners all three times with the team they had.

I can't breathe.

They barely won the Super Bowl against Tennessee 23-16, while the 49ers absolutely humiliated the Bronocos 55-10 in 1990 and absolutely humiliated the Chargers 49-26 in 1995.

Trust me, Jesus Christ couldn't have deafeated those San Francisco teams.

The Rams are where they should be:

Off the list.

And by the way, take down your Sharks avatar you fucking front-runner who just started rooting for them this year because they have the best record in the NHL. :puke: :puke:\

on edit: add second puke smilie because your post is that sickening

Cowboys.

The Niners would have defeated anybody those years.

You're just trying to raise my blood pressure.
