1. Oh so you're a Dodgers fan? I've lost track of all of the teams
you root for up and down the Pacific Coast.

What a disgrace.

And the Sporting News should stop hiring crack heads to make baseball predictions. There's no way the Padres and the Rockies are finishing ahead of the Giants.

2. you should have a doctor look into
that memory loss of yours.

I've looked at a bunch of predictions from sportswriters. I'm hard pressed to find any picking the midgets to finish better than 4th or 5th. Most think it's between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks. You're just going to have to get used the midgets not having any hitting. But I see the Dodgers and Giants playing each other a couple times in April. get ready for a smackdown and several balls put into McChubby Cove by Manny.

Is that your son in the picture?

3. I'd love to see Lincecum hit Manny square in the
forehead with a 97 mph fastball.

He better be prepared for a lot of abuse at my stadium this year.

You should come to the game wearing a Dodger cap and a Sharks jersey so I can videotape people kicking your ass for youtube.

4. Nah, Giants fans are classier than that
at least the ones who actually live in SF (the most wonderful city in the world). I've been to a few games at SBC Park or whatever they're calling it this season. It's a very nice park, much better than that house of horrors Candlestick Park. The fans are very nice and polite and don't dog me for wearing a Dodgers hat. They are good liberals and enjoy the LA/SF rivalry with good humor. Fans with your attitude are in the minority, thank dog.

btw, I'm going to be in SF in mid May for a week. I'd love to go to a game with you. Seriously.

5. Fuck that shit. You'll find out I'm a cool guy and ruin my
reputation at DU.

HA!

We just might have to do that .. I'll have to see if I'm in town for the series.

Maybe Upton can come so we can give you grief the whole time.

BTW, the worst thing about the new stadium is all of the fucking rich people who come just to hang out instead of watch the game. They're so nice in the stands and on the club level. Ughhh. :puke:

I liked the atmosphere at Candlestick better, where there were fistfights every two minutes!

games .. especially in the bleachers.

Quit lying Pinocchio.

BTW, the rich folks are just hanging out because the Giants are providing such low quality baseball!

I'm sure that when the fist fights broke out you were on the first shuttle out of the park.

8. The Giants have the best starting rotation
in the division, maybe in the NL, maybe in all of MLB....

I'm not going to pick them to win the division but they could contend and worse case scenario will finish no worse than third.

11. I checked out a few other publications and they all had
the Giants finishing no worse than 3rd.

12. while most are picking the Dodgers to win
You're just gonna have to deal with that. Like at Yahoo sports where Larry Biel says the Dodgers "are in the driver's seat" after signing Manny.

14. Yea, the driver seat of a weak division.
They'd finish well out of first place in the NL East and Central.

to find the Giants at 23rd.

Even the A's are 11th. Moneyball works better than steroid balls.

15. I've got them 4th.
Only because San Diego might be the worst team in the league this year. LA and Arizona are way, way ahead of everybody else in that division.

17. The Gnats will be third, maybe second
I'd love for my Dodgers to have some of the wealth of starting pitching that SF has, but goddamn that hitting lineup is the worst in the majors.

I feel sorry for Lincecum who will likely end up with a 16-12 record while having a sub 3 era.
