Lincecum strikes out 13...Giants still lose
Tim pitched 8 shutout innings giving up only 5 hits..but of course the Giants don't score and the BP gives it away in the 9th.

2. At least the Giants have a future
with some great young starting pitching....in Pittsburgh you've got nothin'

All you guys do is inhale pollution and sit around waiting for the NFL and NHL.

4. Randy Johnson is great young pitching. Actually you folks need any pitching
you can get. At least you didn't lose 22-4 in the house that A-Roid built, though they did lose in the house that B-Roid built.

8. Check it out
last night 26 year old Jonathon Sanchez..6 2/3 innings 0 runs 2 hits

today 24 year old Tim Lincecum... 8 innings 0 runs 5 hits

If the Giants had any hitting...they'd be a World Series contender.

6. The Pirates played at home today
though considering the measly crowds they've been getting, they might as well be on the road.

7. They won, though. Linthicum and Giants lost, though. They are trying really
hard to keep up with the ReagNats!

15. You don't even know when your team is at home, isn't
that true?

Embarrassing. Much like the Pittsburgh organization.

9. Their offense is embarrassing.
It's going to be a loooong fucking year again.

But at least I'm not a bandwagon jumper.

10. Yeah sure does look that way
I don't like Bochy's managing either. The other night, after Rowand hit that 3 run HR and the Giants go up by 4-2, he starts the eighth with Affeldt leaves him in for 1 batter and then goes to Howry who he stays with for 9 batters.. only 3 of which he retired and the Giants lose. Then today, starts the ninth with Affeldt and after a walk goes to Wilson who promptly lets Arizona win the game.

I don't know about you, but I think Affeldt has as good a stuff as anyone in the BP...why does Bochy have him on a short leash? We could easily have two more victories. Of course, with their hitting...what difference does it make in the long run? I just hate to see a performance like Lincecum's go to waste.

13. It's been downhill since Robb Nen left .. I've covered my eyes
ever since .. every time they go to the bullpen, I break out in a cold sweat.

I lost count of the number of times Jason Schmidt got fucked out of wins after the pen came into play. Same thing with Cain.

Obviously I haven't been impressed with Bochy and I agree with you about that.

I don't know what's gotten into Sabean. I don't recognize him anymore with all of the horrible transactions he's responsible for .. not the least of which is this guy:

:banghead:

16. We not only gave them Nathan
but we gave them Boof Bonser and Francisco Liriano too....it has to be one of the worst trades in Giant history.

11. You're throwing the towel in? WTF?? After 10 games, that even more of a sin
than the bandwagon jumpers.

Or is that the bandwagoneers jumping off?

14. Nobody is throwing in the towel. We're complaining which is
the right, and frankly an expectation, of a real sports fan.

That's why you get shitty Pirate teams every year.

You all are satisfied with it. I'd be walking the streets with torches pitchforks if I knew I was guaranteed to root for a last place team every single baseball season like you.
