Next year's crop of QB's is going to be far better than this year's. I'd rather see them go after someone like Chase Daniel or Colt McCoy in '10 rather than settle on Josh Freeman.

edit: No sooner do I mention Freeman than he goes to the Bucs anyway.

5. I admit, I laughed a little when both "experts" gave the Raiders an F.
Al Davis's shallowness and impulsiveness ("Wow! Look! It's a 4.30 40!") may well bite him in the ass. Wouldn't be the first time...

7. It's been biting him on the ass for 6 years running now.
The Raiders are in the midst of a run of futility to rival the Lions of this decade and the Rams and Cardinals of the '90s. I don't see them ever getting better until he's out of the picture.

8. I don't know how they managed those three good years at the turn of the century
because they were mediocre for years before that and have just plain sucked since then.

Not that I mind ;)
