President-elect Obama has asked Mark Dybul to remain as U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator. He was appointed by President Bush in 2006 and oversees the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, or PEPFAR.
David Medina, former member of the Human Rights Campaign's board of directors, will be Michelle Obama's deputy chief of staff.
David Noble will be the White House's liaison to NASA.
Obama has also appointed Karine Jean-Pierre to be White House liaison to the Department of Labor
Former Victory Fund executive director Brian Bond has been chosen by the President-elect as deputy director of the White House Office of the Public Liaison.
The President-elect of the United States John Berry to the high-profile position of director of the Office of Personnel Management. John Berry is the current director of the Smithsonian’s National Zoological Park in Washington DC and was assistant Interior Secretary under President Clinton.
