Is Sedona pretty gay friendly?
My partner and I are thinking about spending a week in Sedona, Arizona and I was wondering if it was pretty gay friendly or if anyone has been and could recommend some places to go?

We're looking to relax and if it turns out it's a uptight place then we want to avoid it.

Thanks!

We stayed in a Gay owned resort and they were quite amiable. It is no palm Springs , hawever, stunningly beautiful. We found a lot of Gay business listings in Google.

4. My partner and I visited a few years ago
And loved it. I can't wait to go back. We didn't seek out gay specific stuff, but still felt welcome everywhere we ventured.

5. I've spent time there on vacation, and never felt it was an issue.
There's a lot to see there, and the scenery is spectacular.

Have fun! :)

6. Thanks!
Thanks everyone!

We are not looking for a gay destination so to speak. We just wanted to make sure that we wouldn't be hassled by anyone if we went to Sedona just because we happen to be gay. I had a feeling it would be a pretty open minded place to visit, but doesn't hurt to ask what others thought.

Thanks! :)

7. My husband and I just went there last week. It seemed like a pretty open
bunch of folks to me. It is really beautiful too. We had a great time!

10. I hate the idea that it's becoming popular, but Arizona is gorgeous.
If you stay in Sedona, you'll be in just about the center of the state, from where you can go on day trips to almost anywhere in the state - Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, Phoenix, the Painted Desert. I think Flagstaff is my favorite, though I got a little altitude sickness, surprisingly.
