Miss California speaks out against marriage equality, loses Miss USA
She should have finished much lower than runner up.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYV1aBDH7cA">Youtube video of Miss California's pathetic answer to Perez Hilton's question about marriage equality.

2. She'll be doing drugs and making out with women in bars soon
Those kinds of questions, though, are enlightening in terms of the caliber of our Ms. America contestants. After all, even Bush said he was in favor of peace, love and understanding, which nobody could be against, and look what happened?

Well I have news for her - honey, nobody likes the martyr. They pity you. If you want to be pitied, that makes you pathetic. Where is your dignity? If you had any, you'd keep a stiff upper lip and stop your ridiculous whining.

but this woman just doesn't come off as all that attractive and I'm not talking about the answer to the question. She seems more plastic than Barbie. Maybe that's what they look for in these pageants.

athletes, beauty queens, or actors think about the issues of the day. I can see if they decide to become informed about the issues but most of the time they are no more informed than the average joe or jane.

19. Shes from San Diego - graduate of San Diego Christian College
http://www3.signonsandiego.com/stories/2009/apr/20/1n20usa223713-san-diegan-runner-miss-usa/

LAS VEGAS – Miss North Carolina USA Kristen Dalton was crowned Miss USA 2009 yesterday, beating out 50 other beauty queens in the pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The 22-year-old aspiring motivational speaker and entertainer from Wilmington edged out first runner-up Miss California USA Carrie Prejean of San Diego. Prejean is a 21-year-old Vista High School graduate and San Diego Christian College student.

Contestants were judged in swimsuit and evening gown modeling contests and their responses to a question asked onstage. Unlike in the Miss America pageant, Miss USA contestants do not perform a talent.

Dalton's title comes with a year's use of a New York apartment, a public relations team, a two-year scholarship at the New York Film Academy and an undisclosed salary.

He thinks now he's some spokeperson for gay marriage. He's a fucking idiot and does more harm than good. It's only to promote his fucking ass.

He also is being sued by a woman who told him off in an e-mail. He posted her name, address and phone number on his website. And he just did it again (my husband reads his site).

jakeset (35 seconds ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Nah I'd like to think it is, I mean with gay women there s a 50 50 chance it's just that they feel closer to women and not men and has nothing to do with chemical. but if you pump enough estrogen into a guys brain he may turn flamer but, who knows.
larrytheleprechaun10 (1 minute ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam She had to say 'no offence' because gaypeople always get touchy if anything is ever mentioned about them. It's almost
as if they are so insecure about themselves. Anyway it is her opinion and others share the same view. That I'm afraid just has to be accepted...

dimhaloxxx (2 minutes ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Historically, marriage has been between a man and a women. But marriage isn't about a man and a women, its about love. There are millions of single men and women who arent married for many reasons; but my guess would be that the main reason men and women arent jumping into marriage is cuz THEY ARENT IN LOVE. Love is the driving force that causes people to get married. In today's USA love happens between more then just a man and a women. Sometimes It happens between the same sex.

Esurnir (3 minutes ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Sure they fit together ! I tried !
If they didn't together we wouldn't try for ours, we would return to play video games instead of trying something that does't work :P.

p2tkd (3 minutes ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Homosexuality is not a mental illness, it is a choice that one makes and will be judge and eternally punished if they do not repent and obey the will of God. Good for you Miss California for taking the right stand and doing it in front of the world!

herkygirl97 (3 minutes ago) Show Hide 0 Marked as spam Reply | Spam Hahaha... someone sent me a message calling me a dike. Um, no... I'm not, I'm a mother and married to a man. BUT, like all persons of principle, I sympathize with the struggles of individuals with sexual orientations different from my own. I raise MY children to be open-minded and moral... not bigots. 23. We've received quite a bit of bilge ourselves.
Sapphocrat and I posted about her on our blogs. We gave up approving and responding to the RRRW apologist whackjobs with their vitriolic shitfest. See the comments links for what we did approve, and here's some of what we didn't:

Kit
I applaud Miss Prejean on her courage to stand by her convictions. Since when did being "raised right" become wrong? The gay lifestyle is unnatural. I don't care if you agree or disagree, the righteous truth will eventually reign. By the way, I've known a lot of gays and lesbian over the years, I've yet to meet one that didn't admit his/her way of lifestyle was evil. Get past your teenage fear of the opposite sex. You know that's what started you down this road. So what if you got turned down when you asked a girl for a date or never got asked by a boy to the prom. Get over it - there are plenty more potential mates out there. Test the water again....

Why all the hatred. If those of you who support gay marriage are entitled to an opinion why isn't she? Haters!

And as normal human beings we have the right to state that homos are not gay, but very much sick with the allusion that they are right and are normal.....just another misconceived attempt to justify their disease!!

The answer she gave was a great one. It was healthy and one of superb moral character. It is folks like the depraved, so-called gays (really they are misguided queers who need help) (by the way, what is so "gay" about being in a relationship with someone of the same gender?) who need to realize that when they are burning in hell for their sin, they will wish their perspective had been completely different!

Trying to convince the rest of the world that sodomy is O.K. -- so YOU can feel good about it is the joke of the century. Grow-up and get with the program. You were born with the body you have --period-- live with it. Any other options (unless truly genitic) are truly your own "mental" creation. Sexual preference is NOT an option for most of you that "think" that it is. Find another planet. Perez is an ass for asking his "little *trick* question". Miss California should get the crown fro standing up for free-speech and her opinion.

28. This one's the winner of the day
quote
How the f..k did she become a homophobe just because her personal belief is that marriage is between a man and a woman (as it SHOULD BE)? She answered the question truthfully, with grace and dignity. I guess you Sapphocrat, weren't paying attention, but decided to shoot your mouth off anyway. If exercising her right of free speech, giving a truthful, respectful answer is what you qualify as homophobic, why don't YOU, Sapphocrat, GET THE F*CK OUT OF MY COUNTRY!!!! When will you people (and I'm talking to you gays) understand that just because someone doesn't agree with your almighty opinion, it doesn't mean they're wrong?! F*cking self-serving, disrespectful, inflamed a$$holes you are...

27. My letter to the Miss Cal pagent peeps
Miss California LOST Miss USA. Get OVER IT!! I am so sick of her and Perez Hilton's faces on TV acting as if they are two of the most important people on the planet.

SHE LOST! DEAL WITH IT!! If she wants to jump on her soap box to defend her bigoted remarks go for it. But I suggest if that's what she wants, then she should step down as Miss California and not use the title to promote bigotry.

I'm gay and married and live in California. I'm ashamed to have this woman represent California as much as I am ashamed that the Miss USA pageant picked a no talent self obsessed little moron like Perez Hilton.

There are names for people like these two and it's a word that isn't acceptable outside of a kennel.
