Now, I would say that that's fair-minded. She obviously can do her job professionally with 16 years of experience.

1. I believe this is the same person that my hometown refused to hire

last year. They had 2 rounds of hiring and came up with a truly incompetent inexperienced person. He has since been fired.

2. Who cares if she's Susan or Steve

if she is good at her job and keeps the city solvent and keeps city services up to snuff, nothing else matters. Glad Lake Worth realizes that job performance is the most important consideration.

(And as someone living in Arkansas, I sympathize with Floridians--we get our share of bashing too)
