2. Done...here's my letter:

Mr. Obama,

Why don't you come clean to Gay and Lesbian Americans? You are not the "fierce advocate" you claimed to be. You pandered to us to get our votes and, once you had them, turned your back on us.

You claimed to want to be rid of DOMA and DADT, but now you are going to court to defend these practices.

You claim that the states should be allowed to make decisions about whether I can marry. You say that the majority should have the right to deny the minority rights. I'm sure that would go over very well with any other group.

You, sir, are not a "fierce advocate". You are merely a politician paying political lip service when it's expedient. You do not care about us so please, do us all a favor, quit pretending that you do.

Why not try to be truthful? Why not tell us that you want our money, but then you'd be very pleased if we would just go back into the closet?

You campaigned on Change You Can Believe In. I've seen no change, sir, when it comes to Gays and Lesbians. I only see more lies and deceit, just like from your predecessor. I'm extremely disappointed.

But not surprised.

And that's the saddest fact of all.
