According to an email from the anti-gay, anti-democracy Alliance Defense Fund, the Earth has shed itself of Dr. Adrian Rogers:
"A Beloved Friend and Man of God Goes Home to the Lord: Dr. Adrian Rogers 1931-2005.
This morning, the Lord called home His beloved servant, Dr. Adrian Rogers. He was 74 years old. "
Here's some of what we have now been rid of...
Adrian Rogers, Dennis Rainey Tout Importance of Marriage, Family

(AgapePress) - The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has officially unveiled a new initiative aimed at protecting and strengthening Christian families.
The initiative is known as "Kingdom Families." It was kicked off with a rally Monday night at the Phoenix Civic Center. The seven pillars of the initiative are: honoring God's authority, respecting human life, exercising moral purity, serving the church, using time wisely, practicing biblical stewardship, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Adrian Rogers, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, addressed 9,000 pastors and messengers on the importance of strong families. Rogers, a former SBC president, said Christian homes are built by Jesus -- but that too often, men and women look for contentment in the wrong places.
"Learn to be content, and don't try to get your contentment from your mate," Rogers said. Your husband is not there to make you content -- your wife is not there to make you content. If you don't find contentment in Jesus, you're not going to find it.
"A wise person said that some people get into marriage for the same reason a tick gets on a dog: for what he can get out of it. The only problem is that in marriage there are two ticks and no dog. Your contentment is to be found in the Lord Jesus Christ."
Rogers also urged SBC messengers to support a traditional marriage amendment being considered by Congress.
