GOP candidate says civil unions OK, but not marriage or adoption
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/07/073106florida.htm

(Miami) The frontrunner in the race for the Republican nomination for governor says that he has no objections for civil unions for gays.

But Charlie Crist says that he opposes same-sex marriage and supports maintaining the ban on gays adopting.

Meanwhile, suggestions he is gay continue to dog Crist. Last week Crist, who currently is Attorney General, was asked by a radio interviewer about the rumors.

1. I`ll never understand why anyone
should concern themselves with anyone else`s sexuality. It boggles my mind that people waste so much time wondering who is gay and who is not. This, to me, should be such a minor issue, when we have so much to concern ouselves with in this country right now. What the hell difference should it make if it`s ok to have a civil union then why not a marriage?? As for adoption ,I really do not see a problem in allowing a child to go to a loving home. Gays are not pediphiles for god`s sake.
