I figured this was broad enough to post outside GLBT. In a nutshell, the running mate of Colorado's Republican gubernatorial candidate is being taken to task (by Dems! gasp!) for comparing same-sex marriage (an "alternative lifestyle") to marrying a sheep.

I should also add that if a right wing fundy is married to another right wing fundy, sheep are already marrying sheep. And if a right wing fundy is married to a nonfundy, then the whole sheep/human slippery slope has been slipped.

I know Falwell contributed to the downfall of Jim Bakker and tarnished Tammy Faye (then) Bakker's image in the process. Granted, Jim Bakker might have done wrong, but the whole reason that came out was Falwell's doing to gain power for Falwell.

I highly suggest "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" to anyone who doesn't know that history.

OTOH, what OTHER secrets are there in Falwell's closet that we could possibly uncover and collect in one report?

I know Pat Robertson is a shit and it is reported often that he is by many wonderfully motivated liberals. I say more power to them. The more they can dig up, the better.

But I still want Falwell's head on a stick and his closet door in my bonfire. Hmm... Should I roast his head on a stick and feed it to something. I ain't eating it. Something tells me it would be all air, bone, and skin. He wears makeup, doesn't he? Could we call him on that? I swear I think the man wears makeup.
