NEWS ITEM: Air Force officer’s conviction for sodomizing 15-year-old boy gets
to US Supreme Court – luckily it stops there (for now).
Remember the recent “Lawrence v. Texas” US Supreme Court decision that struck
down state laws regarding homosexual sex? Now the gay movement is using that
to attempt to legalize sex with children through the courts. This is why we
need to get control of our judiciary NOW!

NEWS: ITEM: Boston Globe showcases new book that “proves” Abraham Lincoln was
actually a homosexual. Get it? The first “Log Cabin
Republican?” In its Sunday “Ideas” section, the Globe (and other papers around
the country) seriously attempt to persuade people that the 16th president (who
was married with four children) was actually a homosexual. Never mind that
this “research” has been thoroughly debunked for years by serious historians.
(This week’s issue of The Weekly Standard has a good article on that.)

It's been a relatively quiet few weeks. In the House, the new speaker is
re-arranging things; his favorite people are getting better offices, and the
ones he doesn't like are getting worse ones. There are new committee
assignments.

Our bills are all officially filed, and ready to go. The gay lobby is there
pushing their agenda and already attempting to intimidate public officials.
The buzz about removing the judges is out there. In a few weeks, things will
get rolling.

6. I hate it when either side uses children. EITHER side.

It's disgusting and contemptible. There is a reason why kids don't vote. They are innocent, and don't understand politics. Let them keep their innocence for as long as possible.

And I still find it odd that they are saying it's judicial activism when judges' rulings differ with the will of the people on gay marriage, but then completely legitimate exercising of power when the supreme court ruled against the majority of Americans in Gore vs Bush.

7. I respectfully disagree on the children issue

When a child is personally affected, they BELONG out in the front lines with Mom and Dad (Or Mom and Mom / Dad and Dad).

When a child can't get health insurance because their moms or dads aren't allowed to get married, there's nothing wrong with them carrying a sign saying "Hurting my mommies hurts ME, too."

But having children out there agitating for something that doesn't effect them-- like against wearing fur, or against gay marriage-- that's just plain wrong.

Children have a right to speak-up TO PROTECT THEMSELVES, but they should not be exploited to advance someone else's agenda. Especially if it is an agenda of hate.
