If you're in a bad mood or don't want to be, I strongly, strongly suggest you don't read it and instead click off this thread as soon as possible. My suggestion, write the editor demanding a printed apology and rebuke for such bull crap. It is truly disgusting and I'm sorry if it ruins anyone's night.

I will not read it tonight, it's Sunday, maybe tomorrow, but I am trying to focus on good things before the start of another work week.

The last two weeks since PH8 passed have really disrupted my normal work ethic and focus and so I am hoping that others will pick up the banner and fight - if they feel ike they want to. That's the beauty in numbers, unity and the inter net, when one of us wearies for the moment, there are others right behind fighting on.

My point in replying to you is to say something positive. I have read and heard other hate speech - it just that, simply the outward expression of some really, really ugly people, probably unhappy people who get off on preying on others. There will always be bullies, thugs and @ssholes.

Try to clear your mind of the hate--because they want it to affect us, to shame us, to silence us and make us magically disappear. That ain't happening anytime soon.

Think of the good things you see and hear in life, with friends or family, those you love, maybe pets, heck, anything, that is good and affirming and hopeful. Look to this forum for support and a great way to avoid being isolated.

The day will come when this level of open hate and bigotry will be seen as another stain on the history of our nation and people will say: how could people have been so hateful, stupid and ugly as to persecute people for who they love?

They won't understand anymore then, than we can understand it today.
