Jesus being tortured ... since he didn't suffer organ failure until he was nailed to the cross ...

4. Simpler than that.
By CheneyCo definition, torture is something that causes organ failure. Therefore, anything that does not quite cause organ failure is NOT torture.

He was going on about how we needed to torture, and I "agreed" and suggested not only waterboarding but crowns of thorns and whipping him while he lugged a railroad tie around.

The look on his face when I said that was delicious... or sacrelicious.
