1. There's a lot of forums on DU but,
this one mystifies me. I have no idea what "Seniors" means.

btw, I'm less than a year away from Medicare...:scared:

6. AARP sez 50. I'm 56, so I am parking it here.
I hope all of you will join me, when we are in the Home in another 25 years, in insisting that the nurses crank it up when "Hey Joe" comes up on the music system.

8. There won't be any nurses.
I'll be one of the last of them, in the Home and wheeling down the hall
behind you, trying to run over the foley bag dragging next to you.

What fun we'll have!

16. I can still play it...
...on my stratocaster when my fingers don't hurt so much.
Will be 61 in August, retired last May.
Sometimes feel a little old, mostly not, till I move too fast, but getting old is way better than the alternative!

Have a great day.

9. Well hell, I was just looking in the "lobby" and saw
that there was a "senior" forum...how could I not know that? Hmm, maybe I did know that once, but forgot?

Hi Yall! I LIKE being a senior...it's SO liberating. I can stay pissed off at everyone all the time, and everyone excuses me...."going thru the change, dontcha know."

I just retired (early) and so am a senior AND retired. I really like it.

19. Dial phones? Heck, I remember the old crank phone, and to
add to that, I even remember the number we had as kids. 522Ring4. Those of you who had an old crank phone know what this means. After that, we had LaSalle 7-6887. Geeze, ancient history....and they say us old-timers can't remember anything. Nuts!
Our old crank phone had a party line. That was something else. Mrs Peterson always picked up on our ring and listened. I hope she is roasting someplace special now, nosy busy-body

20. 'OLD' IS WHEN...

'OLD' IS WHEN...
Your sweetie says, 'Let's go upstairs
and make love,' and you answer,
'Pick one; I can't do both!'

'OLD' IS WHEN...
Your friends compliment you
on your new alligator shoes
and you're bare foot.
<>

'OLD' IS WHEN...
A sexy babe catches your fancy
and your pacemaker opens the garage door,

'OLD' IS WHEN...
Going braless
pulls all the wrinkles out of your face.

'OLD' IS WHEN...
You don't care where your spouse goes,
just as long as you don't have to go along.

'OLD' IS WHEN...
You are cautioned to slow down by the doctor instead of by the police

'OLD' IS WHEN...
'Getting a little action'
means you don't need to take any fiber today.

'OLD' IS WHEN...
'Getting lucky' means you find your car
in the parking lot.

'OLD' IS WHEN...
An 'all nighter' means not getting up
to use the bathroom.

AND

'OLD' IS WHEN...
You are not sure these are jokes?
