Only minimal information will be available until an hour or so before the Falcon 9 launch, which is currently schedule for 11:00 EDT. Stephen Clark will post the latest updates at Falcon Launch Report | Mission Status Center - Spaceflight Now.

The SpaceX webcast should start about 20 minutes before the flight. Spaceflight Now will provide its own live webcast with Miles O'Brien, David Waters and astronaut Leroy Chiao starting at 10 a.m. EDT (1400 GMT).

1. Elon Musk estimates 70-80% likelihood of success

Musk tried to lower expectations for the launch during a conference call with reporters Thursday.

"My personal assessment of the likelihood of success is probably 70 to 80 percent," Musk said. "However, I should point out that is less than the probabity of success in Russian Roulette. Remember that scene from 'The Deer Hunter?' That's tomorrow, but not quite as likely."
