number one for me would be procter and gamble (and anything owned by p&g which makes a list a mile long.) if you don't know why just click the links in my signature.

also at the top of the list is basically any company that also still tests needlessly on animals (unilever, dial, colgate and all the brands they own)

mcdonalds/burger king/etc (obvious, mcdonalds being even worse for lying about their french fries for years.)
exxon/mobil (obvious)
philip morris (anything and everything they own including kraft and everything kraft owns including boca burgers)
petco

and others that i forget right now but i remember when looking at labels

1. Generically, I also boycott
Any store that sells fur (Burdines, Saks, Neimans, etc). I also refuse to buy anything from any designer that is using fur.

P&G, definitely. Anyone who tests anything at all on animals is out. I think Colgate/Palmolive is observing a moratorium on testing, and isn't planning on going back, but I'm not sure on that.

2. Petco? Why is that?
reagarding the boca burgers thing...if we buy them and show Kraft that there is a need for that sort of thing do you think that might help?

6. KFC!!!
Is the top of my "no eat" list. I have not eaten at KFC or even been INSIDE a KFC since I've been 13. And plan to keep it that way. I successfully got my mother to stop eating there, but can't convince my dad.

Tried the Phillip Morris thing. It's just not easy to buy things that aren't Proctor-Gamble or Phillip Morris, especially when you're not well off and can't buy organic stuff all the time. :(

8. It's almost easier to answer who I buy from!
I consider all companies guilty of animal abuse (and they usually are) until proven innocent. I buy a lot of my products based on PETA's Caring Consumer resource book. I highly recommend it to everybody.

10. Amen!
Our voices can best be heard now, imho, through consumer activism. My great love is animal rights, but an equal case can be made for only buying from companies that don't hire sweat shop laborers and/or (they usually go together) give megabucks to the Repuke Party.
