I spent the week end in Walla Walla and I ate something wonderful
Muhammara

We had a late lunch at a great place that had a trio of dips with flat bread. The Muhammara is a dip made from Roasted Red pepper, walnuts and pomegranate molasses.

Here's a link to the recipe I'm going to try to recreate it

Muhammara

I liked it better than Hummus.

Just FYI Walla Walla is really an amazing small city. They have wonderful wineries and many great restaurants. Who knew???

2. Sorry here's the link
It looks like I forgot to add it. Five hours in the car driving home yesterday left me more loopy than usual!

10. Well I just did some googling and grenadine is SUPPOSED to be
pomegranate syrup, but watch it most is now just corn syrup and artificial flavor! Might be better to make it from scratch. Or at least use real pom. juice from a bottle.

6. I was going to go to our "yuppie" grocery store on Tues.
But now maybe I need to go to the Liquor Store instead. I'm gonna google it and see what the scoop is. I know that I've seen pomegranate juice at the store. I wonder if it's just reduced juice. I haven't a clue

9. A very easy recipe
I have a bottle of grenadine in the fridge and also a bottle of unsweetened pomegranate juice, too. So if I don't have enough I can make some more with the juice.

Thanks for the recipe!
