What's for dinner ~ Thursday ~ April the 2nd Edition
I have absolutely no idea. :D

I may finally get to do last months crepe challenge.

The boyos are off in da woods and it's just me and meowling cat horde for a couple of days. I'd make a huge salad and a pan of cinnamon rolls and call it a day, but I don't want anything sweet right now.

I'll report back later...

What's for dinner whar ye be?

1. I may finally get a grilled steak tonight
Hopefully Mr. AAL doesn't have to work late again.

3. That would be yummy!
I just ate a huge bowl of roasted veggies and may never be hungry again. But steak always rocks. :)

15. It was good!
Grilled steak, German potatoes, California blend vegetables and that luscious ABin5 bread.

I updated my thread, BTW.

7. Dinner:
I WANTED pancakes
but NEEDED to cook some ground beef.
So.... I am making a quickie beef, green chili and red kidney bean chili with a shot of maple syrup to satisfy the sourdough pancake jones. The maple actually seems to be working well...we shall see after it cooks down a bit.

And I have a loaf of Ain5 baking. I'm going to keep half and send the rest to my neighbor. He's making me a hardwood bread board and is in the mood for some garlic bread. It's a win/win for both of us! think he's making pineapple upside down cake too, so I may come out waaaaaaaay ahead in the matter.

8. Ideally, there is a chicken in the oven right now.
I'm in class (shhh) and my partner is roasting a chicken (whole). He's never done it before. Wish him luck!

There are also mushrooms and cipollini onions in the pan, and a separate pan of sweet potato wedges.

When I get home, we'll make some gravy and roast some asparagus.
