I found large jugs of agave nectar
at my health food store, they have 5 Kg (11.5 lbs.) size. There's a lot one can do with that much agave, not just brewing. :9

3. Is that a better deal
than the little 11 oz bottles?

I'm having a hard time with math this morning. :P

I love agave syrup, btw. I use it almost exclusively.

4. I've not seen the 11 oz bottles
but the 23.5 oz bottles cost $6.89. Crunching the numbers, the smaller bottle costs $4.69/lb, the large jug costs $4.26/lb. You save 9% getting the large jug. Since you use agave exclusively, the large jug would be worth it.
