What's for dinner? Sunday April 19th edition
Tostadas!

The guacamole is with a recipe for cottage cheese, but it worked well with the last of my homemade ricotta. Refried beans and hamburger meat sauce not visible. Nor the homemade tortillas.

1. We had
pork country style ribs in the crockpot with sauerkraut and garlic-butter little red creamer potatoes.

For lunches this week, I also made some egg salad and black bean salsa. Also, made triple chocolate cookies, pear apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream. I am toast and ready for bed.

5. No cocoa at all.
And only 1/2 c. flour.

I got my latest ATK email the other night and posted it here. When I went to look at the video recipe, there was also a chocolate cookie recipe video link so I checked it out.

2. Those look great!
Today was weird. I couldn't get AALette to eat anything. She finally had a couple of frozen waffles around 1:00 p.m., then asked for buttered noodles for dinner. Those came with vitamin gummies and a glass of milk, lol!

I grazed, so what I will call dinner was some leftover Ain5 bread and some of the noodles with olive oil, garlic salt, cracked black pepper and crushed red pepper.

4. Oh my, I am sorry to hear that.
If AALette is still feeling punky, do you think she's up to chicken noodle soup ready in 20 minutes?

Do you have a carrot and a celery stalk and a small onion? Saute bits of that in some olive oil for about 10 minutes. Add a can of Chicken stock (or dissolve a chicken bouillon cube in a cup of water). Bring to a boil and add a few spaghetti noodles or pasta until pasta is done. Add some leftover chicken pieces. Good chicken soup in a hurry.

Of course, salt and pepper and any other seasonings like parsley, etc. you like.

6. Those tostados look great. I made cheese fondue and we had it with bread, apples
and grapes. And a store bought key lime pie for dessert.

I probably don't need to eat at all today.

:hi:
