Problem that is strange...with Windows media player.
Running XP pro
2.6 processor
3 gig ram
Creative Audigy 24 bit sound card.

When I play any sound file.. (wave, MP3) with Media player, I get distortion
When I open the same sound file (S) with "Sound Forge 8" it sounds great.

Wouldn't matter but since I use Bearshare, it plays all sound files with WMP...
Any ideas ??

Is his downloaded or over a network connection?

2. Yep....I'm using Creative Audigy sound card (24 bit) and thought it might be....
...a driver problem ....but since Sound Forge works great, it doesn't seem likely.

I suspect it has something to do with the Bus between Media Player and the circuits on motherboard.....or in other words...AAARRRGGGG!!!

3. try setting Sound Forge as your default player, or try itunes
I think Bearshare is supposed to load your default player. (I am not specifically familiar with it.) You using Vista or XP?
