Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L, Q6600 mobo - running 3 virtual machines... O/C to what?

I have 8GB in my system (four 2GB Corsair modules:

* Cas Latency: 4
* Timing: 4-4-4-12
* Voltage: 2.1V
* Heat Spreader: Yes
* Model #: TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX
* Item #: N82E16820145194
* Return Policy: Memory (Modules, USB) Return Policy
)

333x9 (RAM at 667MHz)

Or 400x8? (RAM at 800MHZ)

I know the northbridge on the mobo will have to be ramped up.

At 3.2GHZ, can the CPU live with air cooling? (Zalman 9700 fan)

1. Am testing right now, 400x8 with current stats:
DDR2 at 2.1v (+.3, but now running at stats rated BY Corsair -- I had been using 1.8v at 667MHz) -- 4-4-4-12 timings, 1:1 ratio
(G)MCH overvoltage +.1
FSB overvoltage +0.1
CPU is at 1.331v (BIOS, PC Wizard reports 1.326)

Windows Vista claims the CPU is running at 3.6GHz, however the BIOS and PC Wizard show 3.2GHz.

Temps:
Core 1 - 56 degrees under load, 40 idle
Core 2 - 51 under load, 38 idle
Core 3 - 49 under load, 37 idle
Core 4 - 51 under load, 38 idle

Load: Running Prime95 (64-bit version) AND SuperPi (32-bit) simultaneously -- Task manager currently reports 6.2GB of 8GB RAM in use.

Why would Core1 be running higher?

2. Isn't core 1 the natural default?
If the programs aren't set up for multi-core, I think they default to core 1.

3. Not necessarily...
With SMP enabled, Windows will put any given system applet on any given processor.

Multithreaded, SMP-aware apps will recognize multiple cores and distribute tasks amongst them.

Most software won't make use of 4 cores, but I've managed to hog-tie my system on some occasions (3D rendering, virus scan, 3D game playing)
