So they say Superfetch is why Vista is a RAM hog...

I disabled the Superfetch service.

Bootup RAM usage went from 1864MB to...

1721MB.

Uh, Superfetch is NOT the culprit for Vista being a hog. ~150MB devoted to caching is NOTHING compared to the other system processes that make up the 1721MB...
