Help ! Windows 98 SE "Fatal exception at 0D"
has occurred at 0000:00000013

I think this is a general protection fault. I have a 1997-vintage IBM Aptiva PII 266 Mhz machine running Windows 98 SE. When I try to bring it up in "Safe Mode" (according to Windows 98 troubleshooting info) it instead brings up an IBM screen...don't know what to do with that.

Other info:
- No recent backups (I know...stupid)
- Most recent startup disk is from 2000

Any suggestions ?
