If someone is using some educational software, and they click...

the response is slow, so they click again, and maybe again....

Is this repeated clicking going to have one of the following effects:

(1) No effect

(2) Cause the computer to freeze up

(3) Other

(I know, it would probably depend on the application....but I'd like to hear your thoughts.)

1. Well...Usually...I repeat ...Usually...The Computer will try to open several copies..
...of the same program at the same time which can lead to the user thinking "It's locked up" simply because the computer will take a long time to execute even the first program.
Most newer powerful computers don't have this problem but the old school computers are just to damn slow to execute many programs at one time. :)
