Firefox question

I am using Firefox, but I am not able to see pictures on the Internet. Sometimes they come up and sometimes not. Often if I want to see a picture 9say, in someone's DU post) I have to open IE and view it in that browser. Which of course defeats the purpose of having Firefox.

Any suggestions?

1. Try this

In Tools > Options > Web Features, make sure that Load Images is enabled, but for the originating website only is disabled.

That makes sense, because most of the pictures on DU originate on another site.

2. Occasionally, that happens to me here on DU.

I right click on the picture, select view image, and it takes me to where the image is hosted. When I click the back button to return to the image on the DU page, it appears. It happens so rarely, that I haven't tried to troubleshoot it.
