Anyone know a good site for feline oncology?
About three weeks ago, Stewart nearly bled to death from what was initially thought to be really bad hemorrhagic cystitis. At the clinic where he got his blood transfusion, they found a large mass in his bladder that they were hoping was a blood clot. It isn't; it's a tumor. He has inoperable bladder cancer. He goes back for another biopsy (not a needle biopsy, since that will just make it spread) and to start treatment Monday. In the meantime, I'm trying to look up TCC (transitional cell carcinoma) in felines and not coming up with much.

7. Tufts Univ. vet school used to have an "ask the vet"
program online (or maybe I am confusing it with Cornell). Anyway, they do have an oncology program and some of the faculty members have their e-mail addresses on their web page at this link http://www.tufts.edu/vet/sah/harrington.html

If I were you, I would e-mail one or all and ask if they have any colleagues in your area who might be able to help you.

Sorry you and Stewart are having to go through this. I'm sending positive energy to you both.
