Basset for adoption

I have a 4 year old basset that is up for adoption in the Metro Atlanta area. He is a super family dog, and a very nice boy. I have had him a few months, as a favor to a friend, but I live in a townhouse and he really wants to a yard to play in. He likes being outside.

I have been asking around, and knew that if anybody could help my DU friends might be able to help me get the word out. I am sending his bed, harness, bowl, and heartworm meds with him. He is up to date on shots, and is not due until December.

He DOES NOT board well, so for people that travel, he is not a good fit.

I hate to keep a dog that is unhappy, it's not fair to him. I don't want him to go back to the kennel situation he came from, so we are on the hunt for his forever home!

1. See if you can find a Basset Hound Rescue to

help. Specially since you are willing (I am guessing) to keep him until he finds a forever home. They may be able to find a really good fit for him pretty quickly.
