I had a very weird dream last night.

My soon to be ex-husband’s girlfriend (yes, the one who broke up our marriage) told me (in my dream) that “I need to be who I really am or else I’ll get lost and won’t reach my purpose in life”. She was smiling and very kind. Also, she called me by the name Coco Burns?! She told me that is my true name. That is not my name or is it anywhere close to my name.

When I woke up, I thought about the name and the only Coco I know (or heard) of is Coco Chanel.

Questions: why the name change and why did it have to come from her?

Any thoughts?

As for the name change, I don't know. But, I did a google search and there is a Coco Burns on facebook and Linkedin...intersting!

2. That is a weird dream....

I came here thinking about posting to see if anyone can recommend someone who specializes in past life regression (not for me, for a friend).

I immediately felt this dream of yours involved reincarnation in some way, so I Googled "CoCo Burns."

This "hit" got my attention since this woman was also in LA.

I know the dates appear to be conflicting, but I'm curious if anything about this woman resonates with you at all. For some reason, I think there is a lot of "walk-in" activity going on as time is speeding up.

7. "Walk in" activity?

Can you describe that more fully please? Are you saying there's a lot of visitation or something by those in the spirit world?

One reason I ask is because I believe I now have a spirit coming in and out of my house. It's only in the last few months. We just redid our kitchen, and the porch door by the kitchen now swings wide open all on its own several times a week. It's only been happening for the last month or so, since the kitchen was nearly complete. I was thinking maybe some spirit associated with the new materials that were brought in - wood floors and cupboards, stone counter.

My son, when the kitchen was ready, said it had a "different presense" than the rest of the house. He's very sensitive to the energy of places.

If there's a lot of walk in activity going on right now, maybe that helps account for this swinging door.

Oh, and just as I was reading Coco Burns obituary, the door swung open again. The Coco Burns thing is just really interesting, too, isn't it?

and short of looking up other websites discussing it and such, I'll just relay my personal perception of it from having read about it in the past.

And, I wonder, with the other changes and shifts we as a species and planet are going through, perhaps this phenomenon is also changing as to how it works?

Anyway, my understanding of walk-ins involves someone who has a critical illness or accident or some other life-changing event, and they agree to move on and another soul takes his/her place. They "walk in" to that body and move ahead.

I'm sure the energetic vibrations of both souls are involved, as when this has occurred and has been documented, it's not as though the person no longer remembers anyone or anything about his/her life, but there is a difference in his/her path from that moment forward and there are definite personality trait differences and ways of viewing and being in the world.

While it could simply have just been a weird dream, it is possible that you may have had contact with Coco's spirit. If you've been thinking of moving to Denver, maybe she followed your thoughts - I just don't know. Maybe she senses your emotional state because of the situation you find yourself in and is sort of asking if you want to step out so she can step in or a soul agreement of sorts? It's odd that people were able to do a Google and find someone by that name.
