OMG you guys--talk about psychic abilities increasing!
Hi everyone! :hi: First, I want to apologize for having been AWOL for about a week. For some reason (Merc ret + moondark?) I've been forced into solitude recently. Hoping it'll pass as Merc rights itself and the moon starts waxing again. I haven't even been able to work on my novel or my blog. But I have been reading ASAH threads and have been sending light for anyone who's requested it. Hope to be back in the swing of things shortly.

Now about that psychic ability thingie...I've always been slightly psychic (mainly because I never worked overly hard to train my sense)--more intuitive and empathetic. I mean, if I really sat down and did some serious work with runes or tarot I could come up with something, but otherwise my psychic "hits" are more "misses" than "hits", if you know what I mean.

However...! Last April, I had a dream about one of my favorite famous guys, James May (see sig). I was in a small shop, and he came in and started grabbing things off the shelves. He said they were for his TV show, but not his main show, Top Gear. I didn't know what he meant. After that, he and I and a couple of other people walked down the street and he said he wanted to show us something. He led us to an old Victorian street (narrow lane, tall brick buildings, no windows), and a train came down some tracks. It was an old green steam train. He was very excited about it--we all got on and went for a ride. Later in the dream we were with his friend/cohost for his wine show, Oz Clark. I wasn't sure where he came from.

There was more to the dream, but those are the important bits because...

His six-episode series, James May's Toy Stories, aired this past November/December. In it, he built life-size versions of favorite toys (life-size Lego house, 1:1 model airplane, etc.) In the very last episode aired (after Christmas), which I just watched online, he built a 10-mile-long model railway on an old, disused real route in Devon. The first train he wanted to run on the track was one he'd since he was a kid, the Flying Scotsman. It's an old green steam train. And in one scene, he went to a toy/model shop and yep--it was the one in my dream. But the proprietors were grabbing things off the shelves for him. :) And yep, his friend Oz Clark helped him--the only episode where he did (although he did visit James in the Lego house one).

Freakin' WOW, man.

The funny thing is, although my dream was in April, this episode was filmed in July. And I didn't start hearing about this series at all till AFTER I had the dream.

Just don't ask me...WHY, you know? Because I've got no freaking idea why I dreamed about this particular subject...

1. Holy crap!

I only got to the James May/Top Gear part...

I watched that show for the first time last night. I'd never even heard of it -- or James May -- before!

IT WAS FRIGGIN' HILARIOUS!!!!!!

Okay, back to reading. Wanted you to see the first sync or confirmation or whatever before you abandon us again.

(just kidding! lol)

*poof*

I'm a total addict. So's MG Jr. :hi:

And lulz I promise not to disappear again--at least, not till the next time the universe "cuts me off"! ;)

15. They were in the South (here in the States)....

That was the first one I saw. OMG, it was HILARIOUS!!!

And then I watched the one where they were in Vietnam, on scooters, and the one guy was sooooo miserable. I'm LMAO just thinking about it!!!

16. Both of those were SO good!
Their end-of-season big-time challenges are always great. Hammond (the one with the Keith Partridge hairdo and wardrobe) just wrote a book and addressed the trip through the South--I guess a lot of people keep asking if the rednecks-with-rocks scene was staged or real, and he said it was all too real. They were TERRIFIED. Poor guys. I just hope they don't think that all Americans are like that! :scared:

The season that just wrapped in the UK was good but not the greatest, but their "big" adventure, a drive across Bolivia, was AMAZING. Even better than the South AND Vietnam put together. If you're into torrents, I highly recommend it. ;) After all, who knows when it'll ever get to these shores...

17. Mark is the one who suggested we watch....

It was on the BBC On Demand channel, I think? I rolled my eyes, thinking, "Oh great, another one of your boring shows." Man, I was so wrong...lolol....I'll look for the other episodes.

If it's funnier than the South and Vietnam combined, I need to get Depends first.

:)

:hi:

Watch the Bostwana special. But tie yourself down first. You will    --promise!

And keep these tidbits in mind: "OLIVER!!!", "combover", and "beware the monkeys".

Trust. ;)

2. Those weird little hits are validating, huh?
I think if anyhing your angels/guides are telling you to trust your true abilities and you can allow yourself to HAVE them. You know, so many of us have experienced lifetimes where it was NOT safe for us to heal, vision, etc...this time it is okay, so remember to tell your spirit that and let your intuition come out to PLAY! (hehe, toys...play...get it?)

funny - on reading the title of the post I thought "what did she do NOW!"

so whether or not YOU think your abilities are great or not, others know that you are capable and well equipped to allow for more manifestation in your life like that! ;)
cool stuff, sistah!

3. Freakin' WOW indeed!
Geesh....that is really weird and amazing!!!

Pay close attention from now on, especially when it involves someone you really like.

Maybe you can dream about me (assuming you like me :loveya: ) vacationing on a secluded cove, sorting through delightful creative opportunities coming in via my laptop or iPhone (which I don't have...it's your job to manifest it for me through your dream ;)).

4. That was a precognitive dream...
As we begin to awaken to Lucid Dreaming/Dream Control we have flashes of things like that :)
Same with our other spiritual/psychic gifts. Although sometimes they can show up full bloom so to speak..it is far more usual to have spurts and flashes for a while and then it slowly gains power and stability.

8. Yep
I'm well acquainted with precog and lucid dreams, as I've been a practicing witch for more than 15 years (and an independent study for a decade before that). But I'm always shocked when I get something THAT precise (when I'm not trying). :hi:

But I threw that in anyways for the ones that might not be as aware :)
Not that I think there are all that many in here..but you never know who might stop in for a read ;)
That was a great job in your dreaming by the way in case I didnt mention that :)

12. True nuff
And even though I said not to ask "why", that's exactly what I am doing! Why that precog, of all things, and, you know...:wtf:

The series is quite charming, although I am a bit biased--there's nothing Mr. May has done that I dislike. Go here (Helen, who owns the page, is my savior): http://www.dailymotion.com/MyJMPage . The first vid of the series is featured at the top of the page, and she has all the rest of the episodes there too.

21. A white room with a rust-colored carpet
and teak furniture, but only one or two pieces. An attic that has to be reached through a trap door.

Hey all, just wanted to go on record to say that I had another dream about this same guy. This time I visited him at home and saw the upper floors of his house. Disclaimer--in one of his newspaper columns a while back he mentioned that he was having the upper floors of his house remodeled, including the attic. Perhaps the work is done now?

But once again, WHYYYYYY? Why did I remember he was having work done on his house, and WHY IN THE WORLD would I visit his house to check it out?
:banghead:

Anyway, if anyone is pals with Mr. May and stops in to his London home for a visit, please ask to see the remodeling job and let me know if that's what I was seeing in my dream. I'm curious now! :D

22. So, here's a non-sequitir....
Perhaps you are 'cording-in' to London or this person because they hold a piece of your puzzle...

This guy, he does tv producing, right? perhaps he has written a book or knows a publisher that you should connect with? I would check out his website and see if any "hits" happen with names, faces, etc...just browse his associates, or if you feel inclined...send him and email just being a general fan ...I dunno, you may find another connection you didn't bargain for

just sayin'.... ;)

23. A piece of my puzzle, eh?
Could be. Stranger things have happened.

I'd love to do some more digging, but it has its limits. This guy is HUUUUGELY famous in the UK (less so Stateside). Series--he's been referred to as a "national treasure" there. How's that for intimidating? :D
